When does Christian Coleman compete in the 4x100m relay?

Coleman, 28, was born in Atlanta and, in recent years, has cemented himself as one of the world's top sprint stars.

His accolades are numerous, including three gold medals in the 100m and the 4x100m relay at the World Championships since 2019. He represented the United States in the relay at the 2016 Summer Olympics, competing in the heats only.

Coleman has yet to compete as an individual at the Olympics, however -- he was suspended by world track officials in 2020 for two years, ruling him out for the Tokyo Olympics. His suspension was later reduced by the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Switzerland, but the remaining time on his ban still covered Tokyo.

Coleman is expected to run in the 4 x 100m relay this year. Men's qualifying rounds are on Aug. 8, while the finals will be held on Aug. 9.
