Athletes compete to qualify for Team USA.

ATLANTA — Several athletes with ties to Georgia are competing in the Olympic trials for the Summer Games in Paris this July. 

Here's a guide to how to watch and who to cheer on for Friday's trials.

Who are the athletes with Georgia ties? 

Over ten athletes with connections to the Peach State compete on Friday, most of whom are University of Georgia graduates.

    • Result | June 24- Boling came in 7th at 45.15; he didn't qualify
  • Chris Bailey (Carver High in Atlanta)
    • Result | June 24 - Bailey came in 3rd at 44.42 and qualified for Paris
