University of Georgia gymnast Brittany Rogers qualified for her second Olympic games and will represent Canada, Gymnastics Canada announced Wednesday.

Rogers posted the best combined two-day score at the the country's camp with a 113.551. Wednesday, she claimed the best score of 57.084, 1.15 points ahead of second place.

The British Columbia native placed first in bars both days and finished second in beam and floor exercises.

In a recent interview with 11Alive, Rogers explained how she feels she is in her prime heading into the Rio games.

“The fact that I’ve competed every weekend for the past four years in college gymnastics has been a blessing too,” she said. “Because I’ve learned how to compete, I’ve learned how to sit on my nerves. I think you’re going to see a lot more confident Brittany than you saw in London.”

The gymnastics competition at the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro takes place from August 6-11 and 14-16 on 11Alive.
