ATLANTA — With every hopeful step toward Paris, an Olympian and University of Georgia graduate preparing to compete for her seat on Team USA is remembering it as the last time.
Keturah Orji, who's competed in two Olympic Games, touts ten U.S. National Championship titles under her belt and holds an American record. Now, it could be her last time competing for gold.
The track and field star took to Instagram on Thursday ahead of the Olympic trials to ask for prayers and posted a quote: "Confidence has to do with remembering who you are, remembering what you’re capable of, and trusting yourself.”
Orji is competing in the Women's Triple Jump on Friday. To watch, turn the TV to USA Network at 6:30 p.m. or on NBC at 9 p.m.
As she prepares for the upcoming Olympic Games in Paris, Orji is poised to make history again -- with her sights set on becoming the first American woman to win a medal in her event.
