PARIS, France — Following their gold medal performance in the Paris Olympics gymnastics team final, Suni Lee and Simone Biles -- now the most decorated gymnast in the history of the Olympics -- will face off in individual competition.

When are the women's individual gymnastics all-around finals?

You can watch the women's all-around finals on Thursday, Aug. 1. It starts at 12:15 p.m. and will air live on 11Alive, the Peacock app, and nbcolympics.com.

Who from Team USA qualified? 

Simone Biles and Sunisa Lee will represent the U.S. at the event. Many wondered why Jordan Chiles was left out despite posting the fourth-highest overall score during qualifying. It's due to an International Gymnastics Federation rule stating that no more than two gymnasts per country can advance to any individual finals. 

What are the events in the gymnastics all-around finals?

There are four rotations in the all-around final: 

  • Vault 
  • Uneven Bars 
  • Balance Beam 
  • Floor Exercise 

Who medaled in the Tokyo Summer Games all around 

After Biles withdrew from the competition due to the twisties, a mental block that creates a dangerous disconnect between mind and body while gymnasts are airborne, America's Suni Lee took home the gold in Tokyo. 

Brazil's Rebeca Andrade won silver, and Russia's Angelina Melnikova took bronze.
