PARIS, France — The Atlanta Summer Games Team USA women's gymnastics squad will get a nod Tuesday as the 2024 Paris team takes the stage in the Women’s Team Finals. 

The uniforms for Team USA have been unveiled, featuring a stunning design adorned with 9,929 crystals. This year’s design pays tribute to the iconic 1996 U.S. Women’s Gymnastics Olympic Team, famously known as the “Magnificent Seven,” who made history by winning gold at the Atlanta Summer Games.

The “Magnificent Seven” consisted of Shannon Miller, Dominique Moceanu, Dominique Dawes, Kerri Strug, Amy Chow, Amanda Borden, and Jaycie Phelps. Coached by Marta Karolyi, this team captivated the world with their exceptional performances and unforgettable determination. Their victory marked the first time in history that the United States won the team gold in women’s gymnastics, a moment immortalized by Kerri Strug’s courageous vault on an injured ankle.
