These colleges produced the most medal winners at the Olympics

In Paris this past Games, some colleges produced athletes that were able to boast the ultimate honor more than others.

PARIS, France — As the Paris Summer 2024 Olympics have wrapped up and we wait again for the next world stage to dawn upon Los Angeles in four summers from now, athletes around the country will be training for a coveted spot when that time rolls around once again.

There's almost no better dream than being a college athlete and earning yourself a title of Olympian. In Paris this past Games, some colleges produced athletes that were able to boast that honor more than others.

We are taking a look at which colleges and universities produced the most Olympic medals won by its respective athletes in Paris this summer.

Why is Stanford so far ahead? Well, it helps that four-time medalist at the 2024 Games and most-decorated U.S. female Olympian swimmer Katie Ledecky went to Stanford.

The University of Georgia is the only Peach State college to appear on the list, and they rank quite high with 10 medal winners, good for seventh place out of all the colleges in the country.
