July 30: What to watch at the 2024 Paris Olympics

PARIS, France — The excitement of the Summer Games has finally arrived, and if you could not make it to the city of love and lights for the Games, you may be wondering how to catch it in the comfort of your own home.

Most people can catch the Olympic Games on NBC on the channel in your area and catch the games on cable, but for cable cutters, you may be searching for ways to watch the Games.

If you don't have Cable, the Games are running on Peacock, which requires a subscription to watch them.

There isn't a way to watch Olympic sports for free online, but here are some ways you could possibly catch the games without having to get a subscription or dig into your wallet.

Borrow a friend's Peacock login

You could technically borrow a friend or loved one's password or login for Peacock. Some people have posted to Reddit forums to ask strangers for their login to watch the Games.

According to Peacock Terms of Services, password sharing is not necessarily allowed. You should not share your access with anyone outside your household, discouraging password sharing.

However, the service allows three concurrent streams on accounts. Unfortunately, Peacock does not offer any free trials at this moment.

Go to a sports bar that is broadcasting the Games

You could also go to a sports bar that has been broadcasting some of the most popular games that don't require you to pay to enter into the sports bar.

Although it won't be in the comfort of your own home, you could technically still watch the games with a slight crowd.

Go to Olympics watch parties

Attending Olympics watch parties is a way to be social and cheer on your local athletes. It's also a way you could save money.

You can learn more about watch parties on Facebook and other social media sites.

If you would like to stay in the comfort of your own home, NBC Olympics online offers a free 30 minutes of video to view sports coverage but will make you subscribe to Peacock once those 30 minutes are up. Here are the live streams below.
