RIO DE JANEIRO - "I knew it was going to be the best day of my life," Will Claye said of his Tuesday in Rio.
First, Claye won a silver medal in the triple jump, finishing just behind teammate Christian Taylor.
Then, after the event, Claye proposed to his girlfriend Queen Harrison.

And she said yes.
Claye, who graduated from Mountain Pointe High School in the Phoenix in 2008, also won a silver medal at the London Olympics.
Harrison, who competed in London in the 400m hurdles, just missed qualifying for Rio in June.
But she got her own hardware on Tuesday -- even more sparkly than a medal.
