PARIS, France — Just like that, Georgia adds yet another medal winner to its count for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Former University of Georgia track athlete Jasmine Moore won bronze in the women's triple jump on a wet track, making history as the first U.S. woman to win a medal in the triple jump. She finished with a 14.67m jump, the highest of all of her attempts.
She also competed with Atlanta native and UGA Olympian Keturah Orji, who placed ninth overall in the 2024 Games. Her highest was 14.05m. Orji previously told 11Alive Paris could be her last appearance.
