ATLANTA — The Savannah Bananas are set to make their Atlanta debut next spring, and it's sure to be un-peel-ieavable!

The baseball team, known for its unique mix of sports and circus-style performances, announced its 2025 season schedule. The schedule includes a stop at Georgia’s beloved home of the Braves: The Bananas will take the field at Truist Park on March 29-30.

The team previously brought their tour to Gwinnett County with three sold-out games at Coolray Field back in March.

Next year, the bigger and better Banana World Tour will feature stops at 18 MLB  stadiums and three football stadiums, the team's owner Jesse Owens told ESPN.

Can't make it to Truist? The team will also make several stops in its hometown of Savannah throughout the 2025 season.

Tickets are available by entering a ticket lottery system on the Bananas' website.

What is Banana Ball?

It's an innovative, fun, and fast-paced version of baseball created by the Savannah Bananas. Here are some key rules to keep in mind:

Every Inning Counts: Just like picking the ripest banana, each inning is a chance to score. Win the inning, get a point, and keep your team a-peeling.

Two-Hour Time Limit: Time is of the essence! When the clock strikes banana, the game's done. Unless we're in a tie, then it's a showdown, one-on-one, like a banana duel.

No Bunting: Bunting? More like bungle-ling! Swing that bat like you're swatting flies off a banana bunch.

Steal First: If the pitcher throws a wild one, don't slip on the peel! Dash to first base like you're racing for the last banana split.

No Walks, Only Sprints: Ball four means it's time to hustle! No leisurely strolls to first base; it's a mad dash, like a banana in a blender.

Stay in the Box: Batter's box is your banana patch. Step out, and it's a strike! Keep those feet planted like roots in fertile soil.

No Mound Visits: No time for a leisurely stroll to the mound. Keep the game moving like a rolling banana down a hill.

Fan Participation: Fans, you're not just spectators; you're part of the peel-fect action! Catch a foul ball, and you're a hero! It's like winning the banana lottery.

That's Banana Ball for you - a game where the puns are as ripe as the bananas.
