MARIETTA, Ga. -- The public will get its first official look at Atlanta United's new Marietta training facility on Tuesday.
The Major League Soccer club has already begun practices at its world-class training facility on Franklin Road Corridor in Marietta, Ga.
A press conference will be held at 2:30 p.m. to mark the official opening of the facility. Watch it live at 11Alive.com.
The 32-acre site has six soccer fields, offices and other facilities. It will also be the training ground for the club's youth academy program.
The team began play earlier this year. It will play at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium when it opens. So far, its home matches have been held at Georgia Tech's Bobby Dodd Stadium.
