DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ga. — Another Friday night on the gridiron has come and gone, but this week's Landmark Dodge Team 11 Game of the Week was a decisive - and important - victory for one team.
With more than 30,000 votes, the latest matchup was between Douglas County and Alexander High. And as the postseason begins next week, both teams were ready to play this rivalry game.
But only one team in this showdown would leave with the knowledge that they'd also be heading to playoffs.
With a 49-7 win, Alexander gets that honor - and the season will end for Douglas County.
