ATLANTA — The Atlanta Dream has made changes to its single-game ticket presales ahead of this year's season in an effort to ensure tickets go to eager fans instead of resellers.
The team announced Sunday that location restrictions have been implemented on presale purchases, restricting sales to regional residents only. This means that residents of Georgia and its neighboring states of Florida, Tennessee, Alabama, South Carolina, and North Carolina will get first dibs on the tickets in order to "prevent brokers from acquiring large quantities of tickets."
Presales are currently underway until April 24, ahead of the general on-sale.
The Dream released a statement on X, formerly known as Twitter, addressing the change.
The team said geo-restrictions will be lifted from presales before tickets go on sale to the general public on Apr. 25.
