ATLANTA — Those amped up for the highly-anticipated showdown between the Atlanta Dream and the Indiana Fever regular season game can have another chance to go to the game on Friday.
Friday's game starts at 7:30 p.m. at the State Farm Arena.
The Atlanta Dream is now selling standing-room only tickets for $25 each.
According to the Atlanta Dream, standing-room-only tickets will not include a seat but will allow viewers admission to the game.
Tickets aren't completely sold out, but there is a limited amount left with the team expecting to sell out.
“The demand and excitement for this game has been amazing, and we are thrilled to make franchise history with this sold out crowd,” said Dream President and Chief Operating Officer Morgan Shaw Parker. “We are incredibly thankful for the support of our fans, and we appreciate our partners at State Farm Arena for accommodating additional fans creating the most electric environment in the WNBA.”
The last time the two matched up was for the preseason game on May 9, in which the Fever beat the Dream 83-80.
Officials with the team said 17,000 fans are expected to attend the game.
In April, the Dream became the second team in WNBA history to sell out its season ticket allotment, and the team has already sold out every home game in the 2024 season to date, according to the team.
After announcing Friday's game and a game in August between the two teams, ticket sales sold out quickly for one of the games, prompting the team to move the games to the State Farm Arena.
