ATLANTA — Ahead of the holiday season, a WWE superstar visited metro Atlanta to surprise a group of children.
Kofi Kingston signed autographs and later presented a WWE championship belt to a local Boys & Girls Club Wednesday.
Cricket Wireless teamed with Promise Center South, part of Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta, to make the appearance happen. The groups also presented a local family nominated from the community with more than $1,000 in gifts for the holiday season.
Kingston says the Boys & Girls Clubs were a big part of his childhood, so he wanted to bring his message of positivity to a local club. He also answered questions and posed for pictures and signed autographs.
After the event, he and others talked about the event, the message of positivity, and the important work of Boys & Girls Clubs across the country.
