Another data center proposed for metro Atlanta

CONYERS, Ga. — Another developer has proposed to build a data center in Conyers, according to paperwork submitted this week.

The project, titled Rockdale Technology Park 1, is located in Conyers, about 20 miles southeast of Downtown Atlanta. The estimated 53-acre site would have 837,500 square feet for data center space in three buildings, according to a filing with the state's Developments of Regional Impact program.

The developer, SDP Acquisitions LLC, is an affiliate of Strategic Real Estate Partners, an Atlanta-based industrial real estate company. It is requesting to rezone the land and plans to complete the project in 2028. The company could not be reached for comment.
