GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — A 22-year-old man has died after allegedly running a red light outside of Loganville, Georgia.
Gwinnett Police said that 22-year-old Bailey Hill or Monroe, Georgia died after the accident, which was called in around 8:30 a.m., Thursday.
Police said Hill was heading east on Highway 78 (Atlanta Highway) when his motorcycle collided with a GMC Acadia heading north on Rosebud Road. Hill was ejected from the bike and died at a local hospital. After impact, the SUV veered off the road and ran over a sign.
Police said that, based on a preliminary investigation, Hill ran a red light when he struck the SUV. Both vehicles have been impounded for further analysis, but investigators make no mention of possible charges against the other driver given the circumstances of the crash.
Police said Hill's family been notified of his death. Authorities are still investigating the crash.

This is the second time in a week that the same area has made headlines. Less than a week earlier, police from Braselton, Georgia - who were investigating a kidnapping suspect - followed a man into the Kroger parking lot at the same intersection.
The suspect, 25-year-old Aigon Andrew Wallace was shot once after a struggle with another officer and also died at an area hospital.
