MARIETTA, Ga. -- One northbound lane on Cobb Parkway remains closed after a car accident knocked down some power lines.
It happened around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday just south of the South Marietta Parkway. Both directions were closed for a short time.
Marietta Police spokesperson David Baldwin says a car hit a pole knocking down 2 -3 power lines. The lines were not active and most fell onto a private property.
Crews were able to clear up most of the accident.
