COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Lanes have reopened but traffic remains extremely congested after a crash on I-75 North in Cobb County on Wednesday.
Authorities said the crash involved two cars and two-tractor trailers near Barrett Parkway. The crash initially blocked all northbound lanes in the area with no estimated clearing time. Despite the number of vehicles in the crash, authorities said there were no serious injuries reported.
Drivers heading north in the area were advised to find another route as crews continued clean-up at the scene. Even with lanes reopened, however, drivers are encouraged to avoid the area due to a significant backup.
