All lanes of I-20 East outside the Westside Perimeter were blocked as crews cleared a wreck just before noon on Thursday.
According to the Georgia Department of Transportation, the wreck involved two vehicles.
Traffic cameras showed at least two fire trucks and a number of Georgia State Patrol vehicles on scene.
Cobb County Police said they anticipated it would reopen shortly after noon.
