DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A four-vehicle wreck has shut I-20 East early Sunday morning, with traffic being diverted off onto Gresham Road.
It was not immediately clear if there were significant injuries involved in the wreck. The Georgia Department of Transportation estimated it would not be fully clear until about 7 a.m.
"Emergency responders are currently working to reopen the lanes as quickly and as safely as possible. Motorist are strongly encouraged to avoid this area and seek an alternate route in order to avoid extreme delays," GDOT said in an alert posted on the agency's 511 site.
