Wreck cleared, delays remain on I-20 East

ATLANTA — UPDATE: The wreck has now been cleared, but backup will continue to linger.

A wreck on I-20 East has blocked two left lanes and is causing heavy delays on the interstate.

The incident happened around 7 a.m. past Six Flags and is causing backup as far back as Thornton Rd., according to 11Alive Traffic Tracker Crash Clark.

Crash advises you to use Hwy. 78 as an alternate.

UPDATE: More delays expected to continue as they had to hold all lanes to clear the wreck:
