Drivers heading toward Downtown Atlanta are encountering bad backup Wednesday mid-morning after a wreck blocked multiple lanes.

It happened on I-20 West just before Hill Street. Three middle lanes of the interstate were blocked as of 10:30 a.m., and an estimated clearance time was given of 11 a.m.

There was no word on any potential injuries in the wreck.

The traffic slowdown stretched all the way back to Moreland Avenue.

FULTON CO - Three lanes are blocked on I-20 W at Hill St. (mm 58) due to a crash. Avoid travel in this direction and use alt. routes.
