ATLANTA — Drivers are dealing with major backup on I-285 North early Tuesday morning, with the traffic stretching as far back as I-85 south of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
According to a Georgia Department of Transportation notice, three of four lanes are blocked as they clear the situation. It happened just past Camp Creek Parkway.
Traffic cameras showed traffic moving slowly through one open lane at the scene of the wreck. Traffic is building up as far south as I-85 in Union City.
11Alive Traffic Tracker Crash Clark recommends staying on I-85 North to go to Downtown Atlanta and then using Hwy. 166/Langford Parkway to get back to I-285.
