ATLANTA — Atlanta Police said Saturday a wrong-way driver had caused a multi-car wreck on I-85 South.
The wreck happened around 6:30 a.m. near the Peachtree Street overpass.
According to the Atlanta Police Department, all the occupants of the three cars were taken to hospitals in stable condition.
Police said it was caused when one of the drivers "entered the highway traveling northbound in the southbound lanes, causing the accident."
The driver has been charged with DUI, reckless driving and other traffic offenses, according to APD.
