TRAFFIC | Paulding County road to be closed up to two hours due to accident

PAULDING COUNTY, Ga. — A major road in Paulding County will be closed for as many as two hours Monday morning following a crash, the sheriff's office said.

The Paulding County Sheriff's Office put out an alert around 6 a.m. saying the crash had happened on Hiram Douglasville Hwy. south of Hunter Road.

The sheriff's office confirmed to 11Alive that four cars were involved in the wreck, with "fairly heavy vehicular damage," and one person taken to a hospital. There was no information available about the extent of that person's injuries.

The road will be closed for 1.5-2 hours, the sheriff's office said.
