COBB COUNTY, Ga. — A wreck involving a tanker and an SUV has stopped much of the East-West Connector in Cobb County on Tuesday morning.
It happened near Hicks Road. The 11Alive SkyTracker flew over the scene, where the tanker could be seen turned onto its side and resting on the front end of the SUV.
There was no immediate word on any potential injuries in the incident.
Aerial views showed traffic was being diverted at intersections past Hicks Road.
Cobb County Police said in a statement: "Currently, our officers are working on an accident involving three vehicles. One of the vehicles is a tractor-trailer that has flipped over, blocking multiple lanes. Uniform patrol is handling the situation, and no injuries have been reported at this time."
