CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — After a crash on I-75 in Clayton County shut down northbound traffic for hours Monday afternoon, authorities cleared the area and reopened all lanes.
Georgia Department of Transportation cameras showed the backup on the interstate is just before Old Dixie Highway at exit 235 by US 19. All lanes were blocked on the northbound side for hours with emergency crews working the crash. According to a GDOT alert, the closures started around 4:45 p.m.
Around 7 p.m., authorities cleared the crash site and traffic was flowing.
Authorities have not offered details about the crash.
