ATLANTA — A person is dead after a crash on Georgia 400 southbound in Atlanta on Wednesday evening, police said.
Officers responded to the GA-400 southbound expressway at the I-85 interchange just past Sidney Marcus Boulevard following a single-vehicle crash, Atlanta Police said. When they arrived, officers found an overturned vehicle with an occupant who was pronounced dead at the scene.
All lanes of GA-400 south are closed past Sidney Marcus Boulevard, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation. The listed anticipated end time is 11 p.m.
Investigators are trying to determine what led up to the crash.
