DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — Heads up, DeKalb County drivers.
That's because a new speed limit has been put into effect on several DeKalb County roads, effective immediately.
DeKalb County Police posted on social media that a reduced speed limit sign has been installed on both Chamblee Tucker Road and Brockett Road in order to help improve safety in the area. The new speed limit is 35 miles per hour.
The roads are not far from schools, and the county is trying to get drivers to slow down in the area.
