ATLANTA — The northbound lanes of GA-400 in Buckhead have reopened after they were closed early Sunday morning following a wrong-way crash, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation.

The crash happened a little after 5 a.m. There was no immediate word on injuries involved.

The ramps from I-85 North and South to GA-400 North were closed during the incident. Many cars in the backup on GA-400 North turned around and headed the wrong way back to the entrance from Sidney Marcus Blvd., using it as an exit.

The crash happened in the Lenox area, a little before Peachtree Road. Traffic cameras showed a long stretch of cars stopped on GA-400.
