ATLANTA — The Georgia Department of Transportation has a good deal of road work planned for this weekend around Atlanta, which will require lane closures for extended periods.
We're coming off a July 4th holiday period that saw 18 people die in traffic accidents, so stay safe out there as you navigate these slowdowns.
The bulk of work will be done on parts of I-20 and I-285. Here's when and where major lane closures will happen this weekend around Atlanta. For the full list, see this Georgia Department of Transportation webpage.
