LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. — A busy roadway in Lawrenceville was shut down Saturday evening following a multi-vehicle crash, police said.
Lawrenceville Police said Grayson Highway was closed in all directions from Gwinnett Drive to Simonton Road while police investigated the accident.
Police said there are injuries involved, but they do not know the extent of those quite yet. It's unsure how many cars were involved in the wreck or how it happened.
Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area and choose alternate routes. Police did not say when State Route 20 would reopen.
