DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A hay truck fire prompted lane closures on Interstate 285 north near Chamblee Tucker Road in DeKalb County on Wednesday, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation.
GDOT crews were called out around 10:36 a.m. In an update on social media, GDOT said the interstate reopened shortly after 1:30 p.m.
Not much information was shared by officials, but DeKalb County Fire Rescue said the truck was carrying pine straw.
