ATLANTA — Update: Lanes are now open for both incidents; police have not provided an update on what caused them or if anyone was hurt.

Two major traffic incidents involving tractor-trailers have resulted in big delays Thursday morning. Here are the details according to the Georgia Department of Transportation:
Hotspot 1: Interstate 20 Eastbound at Riverside Parkway
- All lanes are blocked on I-20 eastbound at Riverside Parkway, right in front of Six Flags.
- Traffic is being diverted off at Thornton Road.
- Alternate Route: Highway 78/Veterans Memorial Highway from Douglasville and points beyond.
- GDOT said roads would be opened by 6 a.m.
Hotspot 2: Interstate 285 Northbound at Highway 29 (Lawrenceville Highway)
- Another tractor-trailer wreck on I-285 northbound at Highway 29.
- Delays are dragging all the way back towards Highway 78.
- Only the far left lane is open.
- Alternate Route: Consider taking I-20 downtown and using the connector towards Interstate 85 as an alternate route.
