DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A person was killed in a deadly crash involving a tractor-trailer on Interstate 20 that left lanes closed for five hours early Friday morning, according to DeKalb County Police.
According to police, the crash happened around 1:20 a.m. near Wesley Chapel Road when a vehicle rammed into the back of a stopped tractor-trailer.
Police said that the driver of the vehicle died on the scene.
Lanes were closed for hours from 1:59 a.m. until about 6 a.m. Lanes have since reopened.
Police are still investigating the crash at this time.
