CARROLL COUNTY, Ga. — A pedestrian was struck and killed early Tuesday along I-20 in Carroll County, Georgia State Patrol said.
It happened just before Temple-Carrollton Road/GA-113. According to GSP, the pedestrian "entered the eastbound lanes from the median." It was not clear why the person had gone onto the interstate.
GSP said they were then struck by three different vehicles - a sedan, an SUV and a tractor-trailer.
"The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene. I-20 East was closed for over an hour for the investigation and clean up," GSP said.
