TRAFFIC | Lanes reopen on I-20 East near Six Flags, delays stretch from Douglasville

COBB COUNTY, Ga. — UPDATE: A temporary hold on all lanes was in place as the wreck was cleared just before 7 a.m. Traffic is now moving through the area but delays have built up coming in from Douglasville.

A wreck has multiple lanes closed on I-20 East near Six Flags in Cobb County early Wednesday morning.

It happened near Six Flags just before the Chattahoochee River.

As of 6:25 a.m. there were two left lanes blocked according to the Georgia Department of Transportation 511 website.

An estimated end time was given of 7:45 a.m.

It was unclear if there were injuries involved in the wreck.

Traffic maps showed delays forming back towards Thornton Road. 11Alive Traffic Tracker Crash Clark recommends Hwy. 78 as an alternate traveling in from Douglasville.
