ATLANTA — Several lanes are blocked after a wreck on I-285 south near Highway 166 Monday afternoon, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation.
GDOT cameras show a few fire trucks and police squad cars responding to the scene in what appears to be a car spinout. At least one lane of traffic is passing through, cameras show.
11Alive's Crash Clark advises drivers to avoid the westside perimeter if they are heading to the Atlanta airport, go through downtown Atlanta and seek other alternate routes. Traffic is slammed all the way back to I-20 in rush hour traffic.
