DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A tractor trailer crashed and overturned early Monday morning on the I-285 ramp to I-85 North.
The 11Alive SkyTracker flew over the incident, where at least one fire truck and one ambulance could be seen responding. There was no initial word on the extent of any potential injuries to the truck driver.
The truck appeared to be overturned in a median area between the end of the ramp and I-85, and at 6:35 a.m. the Georgia Department of Transportation's 511 account posted on X that two right lanes and the shoulder, where the tractor trailer overturned, were all blocked.
Delays were forming on I-85 North to the south of Spaghetti Junction.
UPDATE (7:25 a.m.): GDOT is now listing a full closure on the I-285 ramp with an estimated end time of 9 a.m. One lane is listed as closed for I-85. Backups for I-285 are pushing as far back as Lavista Road.
UPDATE 2 (8:15 a.m.): This appears to have cleared.
