A major wreck on I-285 West in Clayton County is expected to lead to a long closure Thursday morning, according to police.
The Clayton County Police Department tweeted that the interstate is closed near Riverdale Road and that drivers should "expect road closure for a couple of hours."
Injuries in the crash were minor, according to CCPD.
The incident happened just before the exit to Riverdale Road, near where I-285 West meets I-85.
CCPD posted on X:
"Traffic Alert All Lanes Closed on I-285 W/B Near Riverdale Road Please use an alternate route due to a seven car accident on I-285 W/B near Riverdale Road. Injuries are minor. Expect road closure for a couple of hours."
