TRAFFIC | I-75 North in Clayton County shut down after crash

Multiple first responder vehicles were on scene as of 11:30 a.m.

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — All lanes are shut down on I-75 North in Clayton County after a wreck in the late morning Tuesday.

Multiple first responder vehicles were on scene as of 11:30 a.m. There was no immediate word on any possible injuries.

As of 11:55 a.m., much of the traffic stuck closest to the wreck was being allowed to cross a grass median and use the Mt. Zion Blvd. exit/entrance ramp lanes to continue back onto I-75, but all lanes on I-75 itself were still closed.

The crash happened just past Mt. Zion Blvd. and delays were extending almost as far back as Hudson Bridge Rd./Eagles Landing Pkwy.

The Georgia Department of Transportation's 511 account gave an initial estimated clear time of 12:30 p.m.
