ATLANTA — Lanes are now back open after a brush fire closed down an Interstate 85 exit in Atlanta on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation.
It happened at the I-85 southbound exit to GA-400 going northbound. Fire officials were seen working to put out the fire through GDOT cameras. The exit lane was blocked, and crews were letting cars pass through on the shoulder.
GDOT said crews were working the area around 11:57 a.m. and were expected to have lanes open by 12:19 p.m.
Information about the fire or if anyone was hurt was not released by officials.
