ATLANTA — A MARTA bus carrying about 25 people rear-ended an SUV on Tuesday on I-20 West, the Georgia State Patrol says, resulting in 10-15 passengers going to the hospital.
GSP said the injuries varied in seriousness, but were not life-threatening. The impact forced the SUV to collide with another SUV that was in front of it. The drivers of the vehicles complained of injuries as well, the state patrol said.
The wreck happened west of Moreland Avenue. Aerial video at the time showed a firetruck and at least three ambulances on scene.
According to GSP, the driver is expected to be cited for following too closely in the incident.
