ATLANTA — Wrecks are causing issues early Wednesday morning on I-20 West and I-85 South in separate parts of the Atlanta metro.
- I-85 South: There was an earlier wreck near Buckhead (see below) but all lanes were closed at 7:30 a.m. on I-85 South farther north into Gwinnett, just past Duluth Hwy. before I-85 meets Hwy. 316. Traffic is being diverted off I-85 before 316. The situation was causing backup well past Sugarloaf Pkwy.

Earlier issues
- I-85 South: This wreck happened on the drive into Buckhead, just before Lenox Road. HERO trucks were on scene but traffic appeared to be moving again more steadily around 6:30 a.m. At one point two lanes were blocked. Delays were still stretching back past Clairmont Road, and there was a secondary wreck before Clairmont adding to the delays.
- I-20 West: This happened before Wesley Chapel Road on the drive in from Stonecrest and Lithonia. It was contributing to delays back past Evans Mill Road.
