ATLANTA — Atlanta Fire crews are warning northbound drivers to avoid the Downtown Connector until further notice after an accident shut down five lanes of it on Saturday evening.
According to the fire department, the accident happened on I-75/85 North near 17th Street in Midtown and involved multiple vehicles. Among them is an SUV that ended up on top on top of another vehicle.
The fire department reports that Atlanta Police are also on the scene. Details regarding how the accident happened or whether the injuries is not yet clear.
