MARIETTA, Ga. — A pedestrian was struck along Interstate 75 in the southbound lanes just past Windy Hill Road on Monday.
Several lanes of traffic were blocked as authorities investigated the crash that happened around 8 a.m.
The pedestrian was transported to Kennestone Hospital listed in critical condition, the Georgia State Patrol said.
It was not known why the pedestrian was in the roadway.
