CHEROKEE COUNTY, Ga. -- A septic truck left a trail of … waste along a Cherokee County road Thursday morning. The sheriff’s office said it lost its load at multiple places on East Cherokee Drive.
Hazmat and other cleaning crews are responding to the road to clear the waste. As they clean, the road is intermittently closed.
Pictures posted by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office show brown streaks in the road, clearly marking where the waste spilled.
