ATLANTA — Standstill traffic is beginning to pile up on I-75 south at Langford Parkway late Sunday night into the early Monday morning hours as drivers were lined up for miles.
11Alive has reached out to Georgia Department of Transportation, Georgia State Patrol and Atlanta Police Department but are waiting to hear what has caused traffic to come to a halt.
The traffic was first noticed to begin piling up just after 11:30 p.m. Sunday night.
11Alive's Tracey Amick-Peer was driving on I-75 north and passed the delays, noting that cars were backed up for miles. Multiple ambulances, police cars and a firetruck were also seen at the scene.
